What’s Your Focus in Creating Abundance?
Abundance and Prosperity. During the 2008 Summer Olympics in China, Michael Phelps broke all kinds of swimming records.
Take one look at him and you can see he’s in peak physical condition. But the real reason for his success is his focus. This is a guy who didn’t miss a single practice from age 12-17. His focus was to break Mark Spitzer’s 1972 Olympic record.
When journalists would write negative things about him, he wasn’t discouraged by it. In fact, he would post those articles in his locker and use them as inspiration.
This is much better than listening to and believing your critics. It’s far better to take their negativity and use it like jet fuel to move you forward. You can even turn criticism into an opportunity, like Phelps did.
Do you really believe that you are meant to be successful? Seriously, do you believe that?
Maybe you don’t define success as eight Olympic gold medals but there are areas of your life
where you are meant to succeed.
There is room for growth, improvement and abundance in every scenario. Just because something is a certain way today doesn’t mean it will remain like that forever.
Do you have a mindset of abundance? Or do you see scarcity all around you? Search for the good stuff around you and praise it.
It’s time to expect success. And then go make it happen.
